What is Semi-Permanent Make up?
It is a process where natural pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, which (after their second visit), should last for several years. Clients are patch tested prior to the first procedure to check whether they have any allergic reaction to the pigment or anaesthetic. 99.9% of people do not have any reaction at all.
How Long Does a Treatment Take?
Usually one treatment takes approximately 1.5 hours. More than one procedure during one visit usually saves time.
How Long Does it Last?
Semi-Permanent Make-up should last for several years depending on the individuals response. Over that time the colour will fade so it is suggested that you return for a “touch up” procedure every 18 months to 2 years to retain that fresh look. The “touch up” is normally half of the current full treatment price.
Does It Hurt?
It depends on the individual’s pain tolerance. Topical anaesthetics are used to minimise pain and discomfort.
Will I Be Able to Go Out Without Everyone Noticing?
Certainly, immediately after a procedure the treated area will be darker (but natural) but this normally lasts only for a few days.
